A 22-YEAR-OLD man was cut out of a car and taken to hospital after a colliding with a fence.
Firefighters were called to Fox's Bank Lane, Whiston after the single-vehicle collision.
Two fire engines attended the scene with the Search and Rescue Team shortly after 7pm on Friday (September 23).
The incident involved a car that had left the road and collided with a fence.
Fire crews closed the road and removed the roof of the vehicle using hydraulic cutting gear.
They used a longboard stretcher to bring the man to safety.
He was checked at the scene by paramedics and taken to Aintree University Hospital for further checks.
Firefighters remained at the scene for around 50 minutes.
