A GROUP of teenagers were allegedly confronted by a man armed with a knife at a bus stop on Friday night.
The incident happened just after 11pm on Fleet Lane near to the Duckeries Park in the Derbyshire Hill area.
Police say the teenagers were confronted by a man on a bike, who is believed to have been armed with a knife and seeking cash.
The offender, who left the scene empty handed, is described as 30-35 years and bald. He was wearing dark clothing.
Detective Sergeant Alan Williams said: “This was a distressing incident for the teenagers and I would appeal to anyone who has any information to come forward so we can find the person responsible.
"An investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
