POLICE have charged a 34-year-old man in connection with graffiti incidents in St Helens town centre reported over a six-month period.
The Star reported how numerous ‘bulb’ images were left dotted around buildings in the town centre last year.
Matthew Porter, 34, from York Close, St Helens, has been charged with one count of criminal damage which relates to nine separate incidents. Porter has also been charged with having an article with intent to destroy or damage property.
Graffiti was found at locations including the St Helens Canal on Linkway West and on buildings and street furniture in the town centre.
