POLICE have issued a security warning after an attempted burglary of a property.
The incident took place at an address on Renfrew Avenue, Blackbrook.
There have been numerous burglaries and attempted burgalries in the area over the past month.
A tweet from the St Helens North police account said: "There has been an attempted burglary on Renfrew Avenue by Blackbrook. Please secure your windows, doors and out buildings like sheds."
