A MISSING man whose family live in St Helens is being sought by police in Cumbria.
Officers are appealing for information about Dean Fargher, 25, who lives in the Appleby area.
Police say Dean was last seen at Penrith train station and may have boarded a train towards Liverpool on Thursday, July 21 at around 8.50am.
A spokeswoman for Cumbria Constabulary told the Star: "He has family in St Helens, so he may have headed there."
Dean is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall, of a medium build, with short curly brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a black shirt, grey shorts and grey Adidas trainers.
The spokeswoman added: "Police urge Mr Fargher, if he sees this appeal, to let police know he is safe and well."
Officers are concerned for Dean's welfare and are asking anyone who has seen him to call Cumbria Police on 101.
