POLICE have issued a fresh appeal for help to trace a missing teenage boy.
Fifteen-year-old Leon Johnson, also known as Leon Hide, is from Newton-le-Willows and was last seen on Wednesday (July 20) in Castle Grove, St Helens.
Police had sent an initial appeal for his whereabouts on Monday. he had last been seen before then on Sunday (July 17) on Lewis Street, Newton-le-Willows.
Leon is described as a white male, 5ft 8in tall, of stocky build, with short dark hair.
He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, a grey hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms and wearing a black baseball cap.
He is know to frequent the St Helens and Newton-le-Willows areas.
Anyone who has seen Leon or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Merseyside Police on 101 quoting log 201607040116 or the Missing People charity on 116 000.
