A 67-YEAR-OLD cyclist was taken to hospital after a collision with a car in the town centre.
The incident which saw a Citroen Xsara Picasso collide with a pushbike took place at around 6pm last Thursday (July 7) on Shaw Street near to the Millennium centre.
The cyclist was taken to hospital with a shoulder injury described as "minor".
It is the latest in a string of incidents to take place in an location which has been labelled an accident blackspot. Two weeks ago Star readers called for action after a crash involving a bus and two cars.
