MORE than 450 staff and pupils from a St Helens primary school attempted to beat the Guinness World Record the number of for people doing the Oops Upside Your Head dance.
There was no room left on the playground of Queens Park Primary as the dancers sat to complete the seated dance routine to the song released in 1979 by The Gap Band.
Cath Cairns, treasurer of the Rivington Road school's PTFA, said everyone enjoyed the event and it was "something a bit different to liven up the end of the week for teachers and students alike."
The attempt took place at around 11am on Friday, June 24.
