MARIE Rimmer helped pay tribute to murdered MP Jo Cox at Batley on Sunday.
During Batley Bulldogs' first home match since the death of the Labour MP, Ms Rimmer joined representatives from rugby league and politics in laying sunflowers on the pitch.
During a minute's silence, fans also held up a tribute programme bearing an image of the 41-year-old Batley and Spen MP, who was part of the UK Parliamentary Rugby League group.
Marie was joined by Greg Mulholland, MP for Leeds North West, Paula Sheriff MP for Dewsbury and former player Ikram Butt.
The day also saw Bernard Kenny, 77, who suffered stomach injuries as he went to help the MP, and his family as guests of honour at at the game.
