FIREFIGHTERS rescued a girl who was stuck in a tree in St Helens on Monday (June 20).
The girl, 12, was trapped around ten feet up in the tree in a field near Massey Street, just before 8.45pm.
Crews used a triple extension ladder to rescue the girl, who was safely assisted to the ground and did not suffer any injuries.
A spokeswoman for Merseyside Fire & Rescue said: "Two fire engines and the search and rescue team attended the incident, which happened close to Massey Street.
"Firefighters remained at the scene for around ten minutes."
