MODEL Beth Cammack is aiming for more success after getting through to the final of a prestigious beauty pageant.

Beth, 19, is in the grand final of the UK Power Pageant, and is hoping to win one of four crowns as either Miss International, Miss Grand, Miss Intercontinental or World Supermodel UK.

Beth, from Hard Lane, got into modelling while on a family holiday to Egypt when an onsite photographer asked her parents if she could take some pictures and told her to set up a facebook profile.

"The photographer said I had huge potential and I was very photogenic and very natural in-front of the camera," said former Cowley student Beth.

"I started to get a few jobs some paid and some where we all gave our time on the shoot so that's how i was building up my portfolio.

"I started off doing just fashion and beauty and now I do swimwear, lingerie and bridal too. I am currently signed with a agency but I get a lot of my work myself through social media sites. It is hard work sometimes trying to keep everything updated but I love it and wouldn't want it any other way."

Beth added: "One thing I would love to do because I believe I could get really far in it is Britain's Next Top Model. I watch it all the time and I know I could do all the shoots but my height is the problem at just five feet seven!"

The teenager has also helped raise money for charities, selling signed photos, calendars and posters and had a collection of bras in aid of breast cancer sufferers, which led to her being the face for Against Breast Cancer.

Beth entered her first beauty pageant at 15 in London where she was crowned Miss Famous Fresh Face and has since won Miss Teen Galaxy England 2014 which saw her go over to America to compete internationally.

And Beth hopes to be able to have more success in her biggest pageant yet and is currently Miss Merseyside International, with the final taking place in July.

"I am hoping to walk away with one of the four titles where I would get to go and compete Internationally once again."

And people can vote for her to win the Miss Popularity title on Facebook via the 'Pageant Girl - UK Pageant Organisers' by 'liking' her photo. Voting closes on July 8.
