FIVE people have been arrested after police carried out warrants yesterday to tackle drug-related activity in Parr.
A 41-year-old man, 39-year-old man, 42-year-old man and a 39-year-old man, all from St Helens, were arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs (heroin) with intent to supply and a 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis after drugs warrants were executed at three properties.
A quantity of what is believed to be Class A and Class B drugs was also recovered.
All five arrested have been questioned at police stations on Merseyside and released pending disposal decisions. Investigations are ongoing.
