A PAINTBALL centre which has undergone a major revamp has reopened its doors to give visitors an adrenaline-filled experience.
Last year saw Special Ops: The Next Generation launched at the former Revere Graphics Building location in Borough Road.
After a change of hands that saw friends Rob Beech and Kev Hannon purchasing the premises from former owner Chris Howell, the venue has been given a radical overhaul.
Features include bunkers, full-sized vehicles, sandbags and tyres, which aim to enhance the combat-themed experience.
"We have made it a full military-style tribute to the Desert conflicts in Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan and we have even gone to the lengths of having some ex-Gulf War veterans help us set it up and how it should be done," said Rob, 33.
"There are three other employees and we are all in full army gear. We have tried to move away from the normal paintball theme like catch the flag and we have scenarios.
"We have three main games, including invade and capture, recover the hostage and capture the bomb and it is the only UK indoor and outdoor arena.
"They are all scenarios rather than run of the mill paintball games and there is an objective in every game," added Rob, from Sutton.
"We're really busy and we are getting really good reviews already."
