AN inquest has been opened and adjourned into the death of a 49-year-old man who died after he was struck by a train.
Alan Hodgkinson died at Thatto Heath rail station on Wednesday, May 11.
British Transport were called just before noon but found Mr Hodgkinson had died at the scene.
They said it was not being treated as suspicious.
The coroner said an inquest has been opened and adjourned until August.
