Police are investigating the shooting
A MAN was shot in the legs last night, according to reports.
Detectives are investigating after the man was gunned down in Dennett Road, Prescot.
It is believed the incident took place at around 8.40pm on Wednesday when the 33-year–old victim was shot in the legs with what was thought to be a shotgun.
He is being treated for his injuries in hospital.
At this time the motive for the attack is unclear.
