A MAN and woman who were arrested in connection with the death of a teenage girl who took an ecstasy tablet have been bailed.
Seventeen-year-old Faye Allen, from Liverpool, suffered an adverse reaction after allegedly taking one ‘MasterCard’ ecstasy pill while on a night out in Stretford, Manchester.
Police were called out to the Victoria Warehouse, on Trafford Wharf Road at around 5am on Monday and Faye died in hospital shortly afterwards.
In the early hours of Tuesday (May 3) police arrested a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman in St Helens on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson confirmed that the pair have been released on police bail until July 1.
Ecstacy tablets have been sent by police for further examination.
