Woman and child hurt in collision
A WOMAN and a child are reported to have been injured following a collision on Standish Street earlier this morning.
Police say a Hyundai was in collision with two stationary cars just before 8am.
The collision caused extensive damage to a Vauxhall Meriva. The woman, who is in her 20s and the child, believed to be aged seven or eight, were taken to Whiston Hospital but it is not thought their injuries are serious.
