POLICE have said that the man who died after falling from a bridge on to the M62 yesterday was aged 41 and from Rainhill although he has not yet been named.
Officers have notified his next of kin but he is yet to be formally identified.
The motorway was closed for several hours close to Rainhill Stoops following the incident at around 9.45am.
