NEXT Monday, February 8 sees two history group meetings with very different subjects.
Queens park Local History Group meet at 7pm at the Sprayhurst Club on Boundary Road to discuss The topic will be 100 years of schooling in Sutton Manor with a talk given by Marion White and Sid Saunders.
At Rainhill Village Hall, Derek Houghton will present a his unique film of the local celebrations and the Great Locomotive Cavalcade of 1980. Rainhill Railway and Heritage Society will host the meeting at 7.30pm.
