A MAN was taken to hospital after a car was in collision with a farm building on Garswood Road at around 7.30am on Tuesday, February 2.
He was out of the vehicle by the time emergency services arrived at the scene and was checked by paramedics before being taken to hospital for further investigations. A fire engine from Parr Stocks and Newton-le-Willows attended the incident along with the Search and Rescue team. They made the vehicle safe and left after around 20 minutes. There was no damage to the farm building.
