A WOMAN has been given a suspended jail sentence after admitting fraudulently claiming £14,000 in benefits.
Kerry Gannon, 34, from Peckers Hill Road in Sutton failed to tell the Department for Work and Pensions of a change in her circumstances which affected her entitlement to Income Support and Tax Credit.
She was sentenced to eight weeks in jail suspended for a year and must also pay £100 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
