ANOTHER weather warning for heavy rain and strong winds has been issued by the Met Office for Wednesday.
A yellow warning for St Helens remains in place for Wednesday with the public urged to be prepared for the severe weather ahead.
Gusts of up to 60mph are predicted and the force could reach 70mph in exposed areas.
After the deluge over Christmas, which led to flooding in parts of St Helens, more persistent and heavy rain is forecast.
