A CLOSURE order has been granted against a town centre address where class A drugs were recovered after police carried out a warrant.

Merseyside Police obtained the closure notice on 102 Lyon Street at St Helens Magistrates' Court.

A 45-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

Both have been bailed pending further enquiries.
