STAR Wars fans young and old are invited to an event tomorrow (November 25) evening to celebrate the release this December of next instalment in the saga 'The Force Awakens'.
The event - where costumes "are a must" - starts at 4.30pm at St Helens Central Library.
Themed rooms will be created in the library, including Endor, home to the Ewoks; Tatooine, Luke Skywalker's desert home planet and the Death Star, the Empire's ultimate weapon.
Those who know their Wookies from their Wampas and their Darth Maul from their Death Star can test their knowledge by trying a Star Wars quiz and taking part in Star Wars bingo and crafts.
Visitors can sharpen their Jedi skills by guessing what's inside a box by touch and smell alone and complete a challenge to discover whether they will become a Jedi or are more drawn to the Dark Side.
A spokesperson for St Helens Council said: "Fans of Star Wars of all ages can come along and feel the Force. There will be prizes for the best dressed character and the event is completely free."
Central Library's Star Wars event is on from 4.30 to 6.30pm.
For information please contact the library on 676954 or email amandabrown@sthelens.gov.uk.
