THE Steve Prescott Bridge lit up in the French tricolour on Saturday night to honour the victims of the Paris terrorist attack.
Buildings across the world - from London's Tower Bridge, to the Sydney Opera House and the One World Trade Center - lit up to honour the victims of the Paris attack.
And St Helens, which has close links to France through its 50 year twinning agreement with the town Chalon Sur Saone, made its own statement of unity after council leader Barrie Grunewald asked for the bridge's colours to glow in the colours of the French flag.
Star reader Peter Astles sent this picture of the bridge.
