AS the dark nights draw in, the spotlights will come out at St Helens Theatre Royal which is staging something for everyone throughout November, including acclaimed comedian Milton Jones.

Musical highlights include a 40th anniversary concert for the Foster and Allen duo and a tribute to the 'three kings' of rock 'n' roll, Billy Fury, Buddy Holly and the one and only Elvis.

There will be laughter courtesy of Mock the Week star Milton Jones who invites us to his new stand-up show The Temple of Daft. Known for his clever one-liners, the comic introduces his Indiana Jones themed show at the theatre on Wednesday, November 11.

International recording artists Foster and Allen are bringing their anniversary tour to town on Wednesday, November 18. Celebrating a fabulous four decades together in the music business, the duo perform a string of hits including 'Bunch of Thyme', 'Maggie', 'After All These Years' and 'Old Flames'. They will also play a selection of recent recordings like 'Gold and Silver Days' and 'Hug', as well as some songs from their new 40th anniversary celebration CD which is out this autumn.

Dancing shoes are de rigueur on Friday, November 20, when Marc Robinson and his four-piece band put on a spectacular two-hour show that will have the audience rocking to all the favourite hits from Buddy Holly, Billy Fury and Elvis Presley.

Costing £24, Milton Jones and the Temple of Daft starts at 8pm on Wednesday, November 11.

Tickets to the Foster and Allen gig, at 7.30pm on Wednesday, November 18, cost £20 and We Three Kings - of Rock 'n' Roll, which also starts at 7.30pm, costs £17 or £16 for concessions.
