Cyclist taken to hospital with head injuries after collision with car on Rainford Road
A CYCLIST was taken to hospital this morning after a collision with a car on Rainford Road.
The accident occurred at around 7.20am close to Malt House Court, Windle and involved an Audi A3.
Police were called to the scene this morning and the cyclist, a 39-year-old man, taken to Whiston Hospital with non-serious head injuries.
The driver of the car, a woman, stopped at the scene.
