WHEN two St Cuthbert’s pupils had their photographs taken in school they had no idea they would be emblazoned on buses all around the town.

And so it was a massive surprise for year eight students Seth Ragasa and Jessica Owen when they came face-to-face with themselves on a bus parked outside the school.

The pair are featured on 30 Arriva buses based at St Helens depot which cover all of the town’s major routes and neighbouring areas including Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, Liverpool, Wigan and Warrington.

Head of school Catherine Twist said the school was seeking to share an image that reflects the school’s active, close-knit and supportive community Jess added: “When we had our photographs taken in our new uniform earlier this year I didn’t expect I would be travelling around town on a bus with my face on the side.

“My dad followed a bus to film it.”
