PEOPLE from across the world who have settled in the borough are invited to a Welcome to St Helens event.
The day, organised by Healthwatch St Helens and St Helens Accommodation Project (SHAP) will see residents meet new people and find out more about local services, on 24 September.
It gives an opportunity for existing residents from abroad to learn about and share views on local service providers including the council, SHAP, and St Helens and Knowsley NHS Trust Teaching Hospitals, among others, which will help to improve how those organisations provide their services.
Healthwatch St Helens and partners also hope the community event will encourage new arrivals to discuss the issues that matter to them, and inform them about what’s available within the borough.
People can get involved on Thursday, September, 24 from 11.30am to 3pm at the town hall.
Book your place calling 0300 111 0007 or emailing jparkinson@healthwatchsthelens.co.uk
Refreshments will be available and please detail any special dietary requirements when booking.
