A MAN has been jailed for three months after admitting a spate of offences in relation to two cars and a van.

David Wilson, 38, from Cherry Tree Drive in Parr pleaded guilty to one charge of taking a BMW without the owner's consent and two of interfering with a Vauxhall Astra estate and a Renault van all on June 7.

The offences were also carried out while he had been the subject of a conditional charge, imposed by St Helens Magistrates' Court in February, after he was found guilty of stealing almost £100 worth of food from Co-op.
