A MAN has been found guilty of a racially motivated attack against a car wash worker, who is originally from Iraq.
Michael Laytham, from Anne Grove in Peasley Cross had denied hurling racist abuse and assaulting Aziz Ary at the ARC car wash on Park Road in Blackbrook last November.
However at a hearing at St Helens Magistrates' Court the 38-year-old was found guilty of three charges including two counts of verbal abuse and threatening behaviour and one of assault.
The case was adjourned until Friday, August 14 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
