A 'RECORD-BREAKING' reading will take place at St Helens Central library.

The story of My Dad - The World's Greatest Failure will be told, following the point of view of a young boy whose father is obsessed with trying to achieve a Guiness World Record, who after many failings, gets a big surprise.

And Rainford author Rachel Lyon will also be present to read her second book I Wish I'd Been A Unicorn. The story, about the hygienically-challenged horse Mucky, recently featured on the CBeebies television channel, being read by presenter Edith Bowman.

The reading event is at the library on Saturday, July 11 with readings of My Dad - The World's Greatest Failure to take place at 10.30am and 12.15pm. Rachel will be there from 11am to 12pm. Places are free so people can just turn up on the day.
