Stretch of St Helens Linkway closed after three car crash
POLICE closed a stretch of the St Helens Linkway after a crash between three cars this afternoon.
The section from McDonalds roundabout to Elton Head Road is shut, according to St Helens Council.
A Ford Transit, Peugot 306 and a Skoda were involved, said the police.
The driver of the Skoda, which is believed to be a taxi, has been taken to hospital. The extent of his injuries are not known
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
