THE final phase of a housing development has begun on land where Saints greats once trod.
Cunningham Grange, named after Saints legend Keiron because the site is the on the club's former Knowsley Road ground, includes a mix of two bedroom apartments, three bedroom and four bedroom homes. Overall, 176 homes are being trod.
Sue Irving, sales manager at Taylor Wimpey North West, said: “This final phase has an added extra as we are now building on the centre line of the old pitch, so this is a fantastic opportunity for any rugby fans to literally live on a piece of sporting history."
