A MAN has been given a Community Order after pleading guilty to taking 337 indecent photographs of children and possessing one extreme pornographic image.
Barry Donohue, 49, from Fountain Place in Whitfield, Manchester pleaded guilty to the charges at St Helens Magistrates' Court. The offences were carried out in St Helens between April 2010 and June 2014.
He also pleaded guilty one further charge of possession of cannabis.
Magistrates ordered him to take part in a sex offenders programme for three years and placed him under supervision for also three years. Donohue must also register with police in Bury for five years. His Acer laptop and a pen drive must also be handed over to the authorities.
He was also fined a total of £145.
