HOLLYWOOD superstar Russell Crowe spent more than 45 minutes signing autographs and posing for pictures with fans after his Rabbitohs triumphed over Saints.
Crowe brought some Hollywood glitz and glamour to the World Club Challenge along with fellow actor Djimon Honsou who starred alongside him in Gladiator.
Joining them were former Rabbitoh’s player Sam Burgess, who was there to cheer on his brothers George and Tom, and comedian and host of Channel 4’s Last Leg Adam Hills.
The match generated a flurry of activity across Twitter with Crowe quick to praise St Helens.
Thankyou to everyone I met tonight at @StHelensRLFC , great occasion, fantastic atmosphere. #letsgrowthisgametogether #NRL #ESL
