Man taken to hospital following collision in Eccleston
A MAN in his 20s was taken to hospital following a two car collision on a country road.
Firefighters were called to Catchdale Moss Lane in Eccleston just before 8am last Friday (January 23). One of the vehicles was in collision with a wall. The driver was taken to Whiston Hospital for a precautionary check up.
A 50-year-old woman who was driving the other car was checked at the scene by paramedics.
Two fire engines from Eccleston and Kirkby attended the call out and were at the scene for around 40 minutes.
