POLICE have released this e-fit of a man they want to speak to in connection with a scam targeting elderly people.
He is believed to be one of a group of criminals who have posed as police officers in an attempt to steal cash from pensioners.
At least five people have been targeted in St Helens by the crooks who called their victims telling them to withdraw cash from their bank accounts.
In two cases people went to withdraw large amounts of cash. When they got home they were called again this time telling them a courier was waiting to pick up the money.
One of the victims, a 76-year-old woman, helped compile this e-fit of the bogus courier.
