Haydock crash leads to road closure
A CRASH led to the closure of a road near a secondary school.
The collision on Clipsley Lane, between Cooper Lane and Haydock Lane, led to the road being closed for about two hours.
It is believed an elderly driver may have been taken ill at the wheel and struck another vehicle, say police.
The incident happened at about 2.30pm.
