RESIDENTS can raise their own concerns regarding public safety and the fight against anti-social behaviour.

They are invited to ask questions about what is being done to tackle anti-social behaviour and crime across St Helens.

A public meeting is to be held by the St Helens Community Safety Partnership on Thursday, November 27, where people can find out what’s being done to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour.

Answering will be representatives of St Helens Council, Merseyside Police, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, the Probation Service and the Community Rehabilitation Company.

Questions are to be received in advance by email and due to time restraints, each person is restricted to one question each.

It should be noted people may not get a verbal response to their query, especially if it is detailed and a written response will be offered in such a case. Also, no questions or statements will be allowed on the day and must be sent in advance.

The rest of the meeting is open to members of the public but agenda content and contributions are restricted to community safety partners only.

Anyone wishing to submit a question on a community safety issue in St Helens can email rodjones@sthelens.gov.uk or telephone 01744 675937 before Monday, November 24.

The meeting will take place on the following Thursday from 10am until noon in the Sankey Suite at the World of Glass, on Chalon Way East.
