Pensioner taken to hospital following early morning collision
A WOMAN believed to be in her 70s was taken to hospital after she was in collision with a car early this morning.
An ambulance crew was alerted by police to the junction of Kirkland Street and Boundary Road in the town centre just after 5.45am.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene.
Her injuries are understood to not be serious and she was taken to Whiston Hospital.
