JOHNNY Vegas has found himself immortalised in plastic with his own figurine after he was transformed into a Lego character.
The Thatto Heath comedian, real name Michael Pennington, has branched out from stand-up to directing and writing ,with his autobiography attracting widespread acclaim. Now he has found a place in the Lego universe.
The Vegas plastic portrait is from online company MiniFigs.Me which allows people to custom make their own caricature or buy one ready-made of film stars, comedians or sports heroes.
Vegas, who sent MiniFigs a photo on which to model the figure, was delighted with the outcome. He Tweeted: "YOU HAVE NO IDEA JUST HOW CHUFFED I AM WITH THIS LEGO VEGAS!"
They have certainly tried catching his very essence too, as his figure stands with a customary pint of Guinness. Miniature Johnny even comes with two heads - one is angry and blubbery and the other pays tribute to his days as a potter.
