IF you have been inspired by the Great British Bake Off a new course in creative cup cakes may just be for you.

Held at Park Farm ACVP Centre on Kentmere Avenue in Carr Mill the course launches on Monday, September 22 from 10am to noon.

It will teach budding bakers how to make the perfect cup cake and create delicious toppings. There will be 11 sessions costing £36.30 or free to those on means tested benefit.

Also running for 11 weeks and starting on Friday September 26 is Cake Decorating and Sugar Craft Skills also between 10am and noon and is for those with a bit more experience. The cost is £26.30.

Other courses coming up at the centre includes Family First Aid from Wednesday September 17 for ten weeks and is between 12.45pm and 2.45pm.

It is aimed at anyone who cares for young children including parents and grandparents.

Yoga sessions start on Friday September 5 starting at 6pm and costs £5 a person.

Stay and Play is for anyone that looks after a pre-school child and involves craft activities as well as offering the chance to meet fellow parents over a cuppa.

This starts on Wednesday September 3 between 1.15pm and 2.15pm and costs £1 per child.
