RESIDENTS have been warned that a quantity of prescription medication was stolen from a car.

The medication was in a bag in the boot of a Ford Focus car which was broken into between 7pm on (Wednesday, August 20) and 8am on Thursday morning.

The black bag the medication was in was also stolen.

The medication is described as three 1mm vials of adrenaline called Epinephrine.

Officers are reminding people that taking medication that has not been prescribed for them can be dangerous and can even prove fatal.

Anyone who discovers the medication is advised to take it to their nearest chemist or police station.
