Is it me or is the amount of physical attacks occuring in St Helens on the rise? It certainly seems that way with almost daily reports. If so, it is not reassurance we need but some tough action regarding deterrants and strong sentences for offenders.

It is time to introduce "boot camps" for young men and women who refuse to conform to a law abiding life. They need to learn respect and the difference between right and wrong and this Country has been too soft for too long. Let's concentrate on the victims "human rights" for a change instead of soft soaping criminals.
