A MAN has been charged with murder following the death of a man in St Helens yesterday.

Jamie Hughes, aged 33, of no fixed address, St Helens, will appear before Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates' Court tomorrow (Saturday, August 16) charged with murder.

A second 33-year-old man who was arrested today also on suspicion of murder has been released on police bail pending further enquiries by officers from St Helens CID.

The victim, who was 35-years-old, has been named by police as Paul John Tully, of Beacon Grove, Blackbrook.
