THIS is the latest bike seized by police as they continue their crackdown on the use of illegal vehicles.

Following several reports from neighbours officers attended a property in Eccleston where they found the bike.

It was seized as a suspected stolen vehicle after the numbers on the frame and engine were deliberately removed.

Councillor Richard McCauley, Cabinet Member for Community Safety said: “We hope that the seizure will have a positive impact on the quality of life for residents, who have been seriously affected by its use in the Eccleston area. It’s illegal to ride any motorbike, quad-bike or mini-moto in St Helens parks and open spaces. The police will seize them automatically."

Call police on the non-emergency number 101 to report the use of illegal vehicles.
