IN a bid to prevent nuisance behaviour a CCTV camera has been installed to monitor a new skate park.
The camera at Nanny Goat Park in Parr has been paid for from the Councillor Improvement Fund. Each year each ward is given £15,000 to spend on projects suggested by residents.
Councillors then decide which projects can be supported, taking into account budgets and timescales, then work with neighbours and community groups to develop them.
Residents who want to find out more about the fund in their area should contact their ward councillor.
