HAYDOCK PARK will welcome two massive names to round off the venue’s final two music nights of the year.

Sir Tom Jones will hit the stage this Saturday, just 24 hours after former fellow judge on The Voice Jessie J performs there on the Friday.

Jessie has become a household name in recent years, performing in front of a global audiences of billions at the Olympics and wowing crowds at Glastonbury and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert.

Meanwhile, the career of Tom Jones is still going strong, with his popularity as a live performer and recording artist sustained for half a century. The 74-year-old Welsh singer returned to Britain’s TV screens in recent years as a judge in BBC1’s Saturday night talent show.

In the open-air setting of the picturesque racecourse the international superstar, who has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, will perform a show featuring classic hits and special selections.

During a concert at Haydock in 2011, 74-year-old Tom had the crowds swaying in the stands with the likes of Delilah.

“We’re expecting a rush for tickets, so all racing and music fans are urged to reserve their tickets as soon as they can,” said Garry Fortune, Haydock Park Racecourse general manager.

Tickets for both nights are on sale online at haydock-park.co.uk, by telephone on 0844 579 3006 or at the racecourse sales office. Adult ticket prices start from £30 for Jessie J and £25 for the Tom Jones event.

Children’s tickets are limited and must be purchased in conjunction with adult tickets. Once the reduced price child ticket allocation has been reached, adult prices apply. All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. There are no reserved seats. Parking is free.
