Who'd have thought that St Helens town centre would be come a NO GO area of a night when you look back at the Councils pie in the sky plans for a vibrant cafe culture with a mixture of bars and restaurants .

Another person attacked, another reason to steer clear of the town centre. This Council thinks everyone should be encouraged by talk of a vibrant night time economy - it needs to think again.

During the day there is nothing to attract visitors to the town centre and at night the fear ending up in A&E will keep them away too. What you call a double whammy!
